You'll know if someone is fundraising for one of our accredited members because they will:

• Have a lanyard and photo ID card with their name on it and the Charity logo

• They will be wearing Charity branded clothing

• They will be able to provide you with information about the Charity and a confirmation email once you sign up to give regular donations.

Yes, fundraisers use tablets to collect people’s details electronically, which ensures the security of all personal and financial information. This means any information you give to them will be stored safely and compliantly. The same as if you were donating through the charity website.

Yes, face-to-face fundraisers are paid professionals and not volunteers. They are engaged to fundraise on behalf of our charity members. No commission is deducted from your donations and all donations are paid directly to the charity.
